Rob has been lucky to be part of two high-growth executive search & advisory firms (9x growth collectively) the last decade plus. The diverse experience he’s gained leading Technology, Software, GTM and Investor segments of these firms led Rob wondering how he could leverage these experiences and DO IT DIFFERENT.

Executive search is such a nuanced business that has seen tremendous change and growth specifically evident in the last 5+ years. Firms have focused on “specialization, specialization, specialization”, when in the end it’s all about creating a relationship based on trust. Yes, industry and sometimes functional expertise can be important, but isn’t it all about people partnership and goal alignment? This fundamental, going “back to basics” approach to recruiting and boutique approach spirit are the roots of Foundation. We are people that leverage collective experiences to understanding mission critical organizational needs for technology companies. This is inclusive of big, small, family owned, investor backed and completely bootstrapped, early stage tech companies who appreciate a consultive approach to understanding & defining human capital needs.

Cameron Phung is a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics. With a strong foundation in marketing, finance and his ever spirited entrepreneurial style, Cameron just simply gets it and is a big part of what we’ve created at Foundation. As a bootstrapped business ourselves, Cameron is a utility player that excels in event coordination, project management, and digital marketing.

As a founder himself, Cameron knows how to drive hard by applying a data driven and strategic mindset to effective marketing strategies and meet business objectives.

In addition to his role at Foundation, Cameron is the founder of RSF Golf Detailing Company in San Diego, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence. His blend of academic knowledge and practical experience positions him as a valuable asset in both marketing and business development.
